How it works
Your picture is drawn onto a 1024 pixel square on a canvas in this tab, with the padding, background and corner radius you choose. Every size is cut from that master by halving it step by step with high quality smoothing, which keeps small sizes from going to mud. Pixel art wants the opposite, so Crisp turns smoothing off and each size is a clean sample of the original.
The zip is written here too, by hand, as a plain stored archive. The .ico is the modern kind: a container holding 16, 32 and 48 pixel PNGs, which every browser from the last decade reads. The Apple touch icon is flattened onto your background colour, or white when you chose transparent, because iOS paints transparency black. The Android sizes go into the manifest as both any and maskable, so the 512 should keep the important part inside the middle 80 percent, which is what the circle preview shows.
The head snippet is the short set: an .ico for old and pinned tabs, an SVG when you gave one (browsers that understand it prefer it, and it scales to any size), the 180 for iPhones, and the manifest for installed apps. Put the files at the root of your site and the snippet in the head of every page.
Nothing you drop is sent, logged or stored. Your settings are kept in this browser so they are the same next time; the picture is not. The only thing this page records is that a package was made and how many files it had.
